  14. This is probably the bug in Sun's make (or a very similar bug), which
  15. I reported last week.  Basically Sun't don't like VPATH being set so
  16. may of the targets don't get cleaned up properly.  Report it to Sun as
  17. a BUG (or whoever the vendor is, you don't say what machine.)

  19. In fact you have to "make distclean" before running configure again,
  20. since otherwise it won't delete kpathsea/paths.h, (or delete by hand.)

  22. Personally I now use Gnu Make to build tex, it works much better...
